17-Year Cycle of Instability

05-30-24 – The 17-Year Cycle remains the primary focus for 2024 – 2026.

It is a unique cycle that has been discussed in INSIIDE Track since the late-1990’s and which is known for its impact on stock market swings.

As explained repeatedly, it is also linked to real estate and interest rates, geopolitics and Middle East conflicts, and a host of other related and unrelated events.

Very recent scientific research has identified this cycle in solar storms & sunspots, as well.

And INSIIDE Track analysis continues to demonstrate that these occurrences are VERY closely linked to global periods of instability – socially, geophysically (earthquakes/volcanoes) & geopolitically.

17-Year Cycle of Earthquake Swarms

In 2007 – 2010, INSIIDE Track detailed the 17-Year Cycle of Earth Disturbance Swarms and concluded (long before the fact) that 2010 – 2012 should see a series of MAJOR earthquakes – at least 1 in North America, 1 in South America (Chile was the focus of that analysis) and 1 in Japan.

This analysis focused on when swarms of Major earth disturbances – not just isolated earthquakes -recurred.  The 2009 version of the table above was included in that analysis and accompanied by a myriad of other data, corroborating that outlook.

2024 ushered in the latest phase of a related (global) 17-Year Cycle of Earthquake Swarms.

This is the time when, historically & cyclically, a disproportionately-greater concentration of higher-magnitude & intensity earth disturbances (including volcanoes) has occurred on a regular basis.

In 2007 – 2010, this cycle was detailed in numerous INSIIDE Track articles – concluding that a major (~7.5 or greater) earthquake would strike South America in early-2010 (with heaviest focus on Chile), North America in the same time period, and Japan in late-2010 – early-2012.

Those reports also detailed – well before the fact – why Europe (north and south) was cyclically primed for at least one major volcanic eruption in 2010 – 2012 (the notorious Iceland volcanic eruption – that shut down air traffic over a large swath of Europe – occurred in April 2010)…

The focus on Icelandic volcanoes intensified in late-March 2010, when INSIIDE Track conveyed:

3-30-10 – “Last month, I explained why I thought one surprise – in the coming years – would be volcanic eruptions on the… northern borders (Iceland) of Europe…

For the third time this year, it only took a few weeks for this analysis to be initially fulfilled. On March 20th/21st – as half the globe was ‘coming to life’ – there was a violent eruption from a 200-year dormant volcano in Iceland.

This is only what I would consider a precursor event and could be a harbinger of major activity… an omen of something larger in the April/May 2010 period – when multiple volcano cycles converge. (See March 2010 INSIIDE Track for more details.)

As I stated last month, the volcanoes in Iceland – and their converging cycles… are the ones that really intrigue me and are the ones at greatest (perceived) risk for violent eruptions in the coming years… and/or months…

The interesting thing is that the shortest-term cycle is pointing to now (2010/2011) for new activity…. It is the SYNERGY of many diverse cycles… all converging in the next few years and portending a major eruption in Iceland… I should reiterate that I will be watching the months of April & May – beginning in 2010 & 2011…” – April 2010 INSIIDE Track (3/30/10)

3 weeks later, at the culmination of the unstable ‘Month of Aggression’, in the reinforcing ‘Week of Aggression’ and the days surrounding the notorious ‘Date of Aggression’ (April 15 – 20, 2010), the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland violently erupted and wreaked havoc on air travel throughout W. Europe.

Iceland Eruptions Intensifying

2024 – 2027 ushered in the latest phase of 17-Year Cycles related to global earthquake swarms, Japan major earthquakes, Chile major earthquakes, global volcanic swarms, AND Iceland volcanoes.

The 17-Year Cycle of Earth Instability

The 17-Year Cycle pinpoints 2024 & 2025 as higher-probability times for various types of extremes in the markets, in the US, and across the globe.

To recap, the 17-Year Cycle is a geophysical, geomagnetic, geopolitical & solar cycle that strongly influences the ebb and flow of market & geopolitical speculation.

At the ‘peak’ of each cycle, sudden shifts have consistently taken hold… and taken the masses by surprise. 2024/2025 is on track to repeat this uncanny cycle.

The 17-Year Cycle Projects Destabilizing Events in 2024 – 2026!

July – September 2024 is the time when many of these cycles are expected to usher in ‘shifts’ – in markets, economies, and tectonic plates… with a unique synergy of cycles focused on Japan as well as other nations.
